Today we held our third Progressing Ballet Technique class of the Summer holidays in Hallhill Sports Centre. We had a good turnout and the class was very productive as usual. The class focusses on strengthening muscles used to improve ballet technique and strength, using yoga balls, mats, and therebands.
Today we did a number of exercises but mainly focused on posture and core.
While these classes are only offered during school holidays, they are a valuable experience to take forward into classwork as the girls bring their own equipment so the exercises can be practiced at home.
As well as having a very good class, we gave out the RAD certificates to those girls that took part in the class. We are so proud of all our dancers hat took part in exams and seeing them receive their certificates and medals is always very special for us.
Well done girls for the class, and of course for your amazing exam results!
